Vintage Compacts Mirror the Past

Friday March 11, 2005
Powdering a nose 50-75 years ago wasn't merely practical; it was an event. Every handbag and vanity table held at least one pretty loose powder compact. Some of these were shaped like little hands wearing lace gloves, others were encrusted with faux gemstones. And they were all lovely. These days collectors love to gather these beauties into charming collections. Read Vintage Compacts Mirror the Past to find out more about these interesting ladies collectibles.
