Handel Lamp Tops $13,000 on eBay

Wednesday April 20, 2005
Fine antique lamps are getting harder and harder to come by, and if you get one at a bargain price you're really lucky. Even though paying more than $13,000 might not seem like a bargain to most of us, I'd bet the winner of this beautiful Handel lamp with reverse-painted shade felt like a million bucks when it was safely dilevered to their home. Read more about the hard to come by lamp and the eBay deal that netted this treasure for one very lucky winner in a recent Professional Marketing press release.

I have a similar signed and numbered Handel lamp. It is reverse painted on chipped ice glass. It’s base is bronze and larger than the one that went for $13,000. My father’s mother bought the lamp at Tiffany’s–probably around 1900. I’d love to sell my lamp for the same amount. How do I go about doing that?

Thanks Pamela,

$13K is quite expensive unless a millionare. Tiffany & Schonbek Table Lamp at this site also a good choice at below $1k.

Thanks.
