A Reproduction Glass Lesson

Sunday July 24, 2005
On a past episode of HGTV's Flea Market Finds with the Kovels, Terry Kovel provided some pointers to help viewers detect newly made glassware like the child's "Cameo" water set shown here. Take it from me, antique shops and flea markets are filled with new glassware pieces that can easily confuse collectors, and some inexperienced dealers don't know the difference either. It pays to educate yourself before you shop and this tutorial from the Kovel's is a great place to start.

It’s unfortunate you feel that way. I get so many comments from others who do find useful information here. What were you looking for specifically? Perhaps I can still help or point you in the right direction to get the information you’re seeking.
