Memories of Metlox Pottery

Wednesday August 3, 2005
It’s funny how you remember people by things they owned, and how possessions were so important to them. When I was a kid, my older brother got married and his wife fell in love with a Metlox Pottery dinnerware pattern. Now when I see a piece of Sculptured Daisy at an estate sale or flea market, I think of my former sister-in-law. I've lost touch with her over the years, and I have no clue what happened to her beloved dishes, but I did decide to look up a little history on the Metlox company and some of the items they made from the 1920s through the late '80s. Read Memories of Metlox Pottery to learn more about these collectibles.
