When I was a kid, my older brother got married and his wife fell in love with a Metlox Pottery dinnerware pattern. Now when I see a piece of Sculptured Daisy at an estate sale or flea market, I think of my former sister-in-law. I've lost touch with her over the years, and I have no clue what happened to her beloved dishes, but I did decide to look up a little history on the Metlox company and some of the items they made from the 1920s through the late '80s.
