The first in this series is Identifying Eastlake Furniture. If you're not familiar with Eastlake styling, you'll discover that it's a departure from the fancy furniture styles usually associated with the Victorian period. Nevertheless, Eastlake pieces can be stylish and affordable if you shop around, and I personally like them although they're not everyone's cup of tea.
