Look for the New Issue of Collecting from Country Living

Monday August 14, 2006
There are a number of reasons I'll be pleased to see the new edition of Collecting from the editors of Country Living hit newsstands August 22. Since it only comes out once a year (perhaps we should mount a letter writing campaign asking for more, more, more!), I've been waiting since last August to see another issue. I also spy some Halloween collectibles on the cover, and in my book that's always a good excuse to pick up a magazine or book. And, I'll be featured in the magazine as a collector of vintage costume jewelry. How exciting is that?! Take a look an issue and let me know what you think about it!

This article says the magazine comes out on the 22nd, but the latest issue of country Living said it would hit the newsstands on the 8th. Which is correct? I agree totally that it should come out more than once a year!

I got an e-mail from a Country Living editor I know a couple of days ago. He confirmed that it should be on newsstands on Aug. 22. He’s overnighting me a few copies of the magazine. I can’t wait to see it! Best, Pamela

I found it last year at the grocery store next to Country Living, but it wasn’t out right away. Keep checking the newsstands. I bet you find it soon!

I found this magazine at a thrift store. I love it. I wanted to subscribe to it. I am disappointed to find out that it was only a special issue. I want more. This is my kind of magazine.

I’m glad you found a copy of the magazine. Better late than never! I’d love to see it published more regularly as well, but let’s at least hope that we’ll find it again on newsstands late next summer. I heard that it was spotted at the big box home improvement stores, so we’ll have to look there. And I’ll pass your note along to the editor of the magazine. Like all of us in the business of disseminating information, he’s always happy to get “fan mail.” Best, Pamela

I CAN’T WAIT. I feel so silly because I check the stands all the time looking for a new issue. I wish that the magazine was published more regularly as well. I will be looking for it in August.

I live in Indiana and cannot find the magazine anywhere, drug stores, grocery stores, book stores or Wal-Mt. where I found it last year. Where is it availa ble. I’d love to have it at least twice a year and have it arrive in the mail instead of having to hunt all over Indiana and Ohio to see if I can find it – which to this date 10/8 I still have not found it. Help!!!!
