Woman Tries to Sell 139-Year-Old Baseball Card for $10

Friday January 9, 2009
While sports collectibles don't catch my eye all that often, I read an amazing story recently I just had to share with you. It's about a 139-year-old baseball card a woman recently tried to sell on eBay with a starting bid of $10. The card, found in a box of antiques laying around her home, apparently depicts the very first major league baseball team. Find out how much the card is really worth through a Yahoo! Sports news story.

After you're done reading, pop back over and leave a comment to share what you think about it. After 20 years of buying and selling antiques, all I can wonder is how come this stuff never happens to me?!
