Collector Books Going Out of Business

Collector Books sent out a letter to their customers this week informing them of their intention to follow through with publishing books in the works in 2010, and to focus on selling off their inventory in 2011. If there's a Collector Books title you've had your eye on, now's the time to place your order. Some popular Collector Books titles have already sold out and are being offered for quite hefty sums on the secondary market. I can only wonder if this will strengthen the market for other publishers of collecting titles, or it signals more changes to come for antiques and collectibles book publishing as we know it.
