usually that is the only way I can afford an antque if it is damaged—I am fairly good at restoring and or pieceing and glueing–Many people comment on my things an;d I tell them it way in pieces when I got it. THe rich are very very much snobs and will not touch something in a poor persons home even if it is perfect–I know–It is very sad to devalue something that is precious to someone else–that other wise they would not have—-If the poor have something of value the rich want it for 50 cents–but same item in a classy neighborhood will pqy the asking price.
