Antiques Roadshow Begins Ninth Season
Antiques Roadshow began airing its ninth season on PBS tonight. The show filmed in St. Paul, Minn. featured a great Stickley armchair, a pair of valuable Maria Martinez matching black pots made in New Mexico and, my personal favorite, a great set of Schoenhut Humpty Dumpty Circus band member dolls. But the star of the show was a beautiful Patek-Philippe pocket watch valued at a whopping $250,000. Read more about this quarter-of-a-millon dollar timepiece on the Antiques Roadshow's Web site.
