Dorothy Bauer's company produced many, many Christmas designs including trees during the 20 plus years she was in business. She began making jewelry in 1982 as "A Piece of the Rainbow" and eventually changed the name of the company to Dorothy Bauer Designs. Her Christmas pins are now very popular with collectors, and some limited edition pieces and larger designs like the one shown here can be quite expensive.
