Moser Glass Stemware

- Jay B. Siegel
According to a Liberace museum guide, this set of Moser stemware (a subset of a larger collection linked below) is a copy of Queen Elizabeth's personal service. After several denied requests made graciously by Liberace upon visits to Buckingham Palace, the Queen ultimately relented and gave Liberace permission to have a set of his own commissioned by Moser in the same pattern. The molds were reportedly destroyed after the second set was made to preserve their uniqueness.
