Framing a Collection

This great decorating idea comes from Caryn Krisha of Florida. She recently incorporated the idea of “framing” a group of wall pockets into her home décor. This grouping features mostly bird and animal themes culled from her larger collection.

How did she decide which wall pockets to group together? Krisha shared this hint: “When we went to lay them out, we just did what was pleasant to the eye.” Krisha and her decorating helper chose wall pockets of similar sizes and colors for a coordinated look.

Krisha completed the project with molding from her local home improvement warehouse, which was spray painted black. The pieces were then tacked together and nailed to the wall for a simple decorating project that cleverly displays one of her fanciful collections.
