Is Newcomb Pottery Still the Cream of the Crop?
Did you see the Antiques Roadshow last night? One fellow brought in a Newcomb Pottery chocolate set for pottery expert David Rago to assess. Rago figured it would be worth $50,000 to 60,000! I've seen some nice chocolate sets in my time, but that's pretty penny for pottery. To read more about Rago's opinion on Newcomb pieces as investments, and see a close-up of the rare landscape decor on the chocolate pot, take a look at Newcomb Pottery: Cream of the Crop from the Roadshow's website.
